2000-2022 ​            Tenured Full Professor of theatre at Seattle University.

1999 – 2000           Interim Artistic Director
Northwest Asian American Theatre, Seattle, WA.
Produced a range of local and international performances including the work of Chay Yew, Susie Kozawa, Mew Chang-Tsing and Eugenie Chan, among others.

1998 – 1999           Associate Artistic Director & Director of International Artists Program
Northwest Asian American Theatre, Seattle WA
Responsible for artistic direction of an international collaboration sponsored by The Ford Foundation that produced multi-residency, multi-disciplinary collaborations between Southeast Asian artists and Asian American artists.
